Mount Eliza: Woodlands - LATM

  • Project typeRoads, Streetscapes and Footpaths

This Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) project has been granted funding through the Safer Local Roads and Streets Program (SLRSP).

The LATM treatment will include, speed reducing treatments:

  • raised safety platforms (RSPs) and associated lighting changes, and

These treatments will address the high vehicle speeds, road topography (including bends and undulation), poor site lines and a lack of pedestrian facilities.

The treatments have been distributed throughout the Woodlands area:

  • Walkers Road: four new RSPs
  • Mather Road: five new RSPs, wide centerline at five curves
  • Millbank Drive: one new RSP
  • Bellbird Road: seven new RSPs, wide centerline at two curves
  • Winona Road: four new RSPs, wide centerline at one curve
  • Allison Road: two new RSPs
  • Canadian Bay Road: one new RSP
