Project Scope

The Creswell Street East, Crib Point Development Contributions Plan (DCP) is an Incorporated Document in the Mornington Peninsula Planning Scheme. The DCP provides for the funding and delivery of road and drainage infrastructure required to service privately owned residential properties in Creswell and Cooma Streets, Crib Point.

The DCP specifically applies to properties at 1-73 Creswell Street (except 2 Creswell Street) and 1-3 Cooma Street

The infrastructure to be delivered with the DCP includes:

  • New asphalt sealed roads,
  • Stormwater drainage and connections,
  • Concrete kerb & channel,
  • Utility upgrades and connections.

Project Timeline

The revised DCP nominates that the deadline for the infrastructure works to be delivered by, is 30 June 2030. Now that Amendment C295morn has been approved and gazetted, the Shire is actively working through finalising the Detailed Designs for construction works, alongside any relevant authority applications and environmental referrals. This approach will likely deliver the works ahead of this current deadline schedule, with construction works anticipated to commence in 2027, pending any further permits or approvals required by external authorities.
